NASA UAP Independent Study

In June 2022 NASA commissioned a 16-member independent study team led by astrophysicist Dr. David Spergel to examine unidentified anomalous phenomena from a strictly scientific perspective. The team delivered its final report on September 14, 2023 — recommending a unified data pipeline, expanded use of NASA Earth observation assets, and the application of AI/ML to anomaly detection.
